First-Aid Measures

  • After inhalation of fibre dust:
Move the affected person to fresh air. Seek medical advice if
irritation, coughing or breathing difficulties persist.
  • After skin contact:
Wash the affected area with water. Seek medical advice if persistent
    irritation occurs.
  • After eye contact:
Rinse cautiously with clean water for several minutes. Seek medical
    advice if irritation persists.
  • After ingestion:
Rinse mouth with water. Seek medical advice if discomfort or other
    symptoms occur.
05

Fire-Fighting Measures

The product consists of organic plant material and is combustible.

  • Suitable extinguishing media: water, water spray, foam, dry powder
    and carbon dioxide (CO₂).
  • Combustion may generate smoke, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and
    organic decomposition products.
  • In case of significant smoke development, use suitable respiratory
    protection.
06

Accidental Release Measures

  • Avoid unnecessary dust formation when handling damaged or
    mechanically processed material.
  • Collect loose material mechanically and avoid generating dust.
  • Avoid unnecessary release of larger quantities into drains or
    surface water.
  • Clean, uncontaminated material may be reused where suitable.
07

Handling and Storage

Handle the product in accordance with its intended use. Avoid
unnecessary dust formation during cutting or mechanical processing.
Wash hands after handling.

Store dry, clean, protected from moisture, weather and contamination.
Keep the product in its original packaging until use where possible.
Avoid prolonged storage in wet or damp conditions.

When used for plants intended for human consumption, appropriate
hygienic conditions must be maintained. Use clean water and suitable
